 Craig Franklin - Keyboards and Vocals  Craig lived in Las Vegas for many years and performed with many professional musicians. The experience gave him insight on the music business and sharpened his skills as a keyboardist. Craig has written and produced various artists. His dream is to become a super producer. Craig believes that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. With more than 20 years in the music business, Craig is a great asset to R-Style. Craig enjoys life and always likes to have a good laugh. He is a brother to the band members, as well as a good business man. J Duke Riggs-Drummer and Vocals  Jerry started playing drums at the age of 10, he started at the Omaha Boys club under the direction of Mr. Chuck Miller. Jerry went on to join the band called E.T.C. and toured Japan and the Philippines. After 10 years of performing, the band broke up and Jerry moved to Minneapolis where he played with artist like Levi Secser of New Power Generation. Jerry has also toured with Grammy Award Winning Group Avalon in 2004 and shortly after, he joined the group R-Style. Jerry is known for his flashy showmanship and his solid grooves. Jerry believes that hard work, having a plan and executing your plan is the road to success. Ase D. L'Bert-Lead Vocals-  Ase began voice and piano lessons as well as singing in his local church at age 7 under the direction of his late uncle. Throughout his childhood he focused on enhancing his talent and studied the piano and the violin. Ase was awarded a scholarship to study music at the University of Akron, in Akron, Ohio. While matriculating at the university he performed with a small local band and directed his church choir. From 2001-2008 Ase performed as a solo artist and a backup singer in South Miami, FL and Los Angeles, CA areas. After making Omaha his home Ase has shared his talent with the fans of the “Omaha Smooth Jazz Society” and has performed with several local bands. Ase is the newest R-Style family member and he appreciates the band’s rich history and is able use his talent to uphold R-Styles commitment make sure their fans get a great show at each performance. |
